Planning For The Future of Our Children

The Parent Outreach program is hosting a series of workshops on Futures Planning for children with disabilities. CLICK HERE

 

The Council is a nonprofit advocacy organization that has been in old Louisville, KY for 56 years, since 1952.  We advocate for children and adults with intellectual disabilities (mental retardation/developmental disabilities).  Our clients are Kentuckians of all ages with autism, Down syndrome, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, co-occurring disabilities, and others—and their families.  The Council offers support, information, and service, and works for improvements in every necessary arena:  social, cultural, educational, and political.
