During the past six decades the Council has worked tirelessly to develop model programs and services. However, Advocacy is at the heart of our mission. We work to improve public policies and investments to better serve people with developmental disabilities. We provide constant outreach to families in need and numerous training opportunities, free of charge. And we use marketing and education to create dialogue, collaboration and improved public attitudes toward people with disabilities.
